Zumper API

Zumper has no API for reading listings. Its official interface only lets agents and their software upload their own listings. Listingrail reads live Zumper rent listings (United States) and returns them as JSON with one key, in the same format as the other 16 portals.

Is there an official Zumper API?

Zumper has no public API for reading or searching its listings. Its official integration is an inbound feed that landlords, property managers and syndication providers use to send listings to Zumper, which then syndicates them to PadMapper and other partners.

Access. Through a supported property management system or syndication provider (Appfolio, Yardi, Propertyware and others), or for a custom feed by emailing directlistings@zumper.com / feeds@zumper.com; custom feeds are limited to 50+ properties and need a signed Community Listing Service Order Form. Canada: larger landlords go through Rentsync.

Price. Zumper publishes no price for API access that we could find.

What the official route covers. Publishing your own rental listings to Zumper and its partner network (PadMapper, Bing, ChatGPT and others).

What it does not. Reading or searching Zumper's listings, other landlords' data, rent data exports.

Questions about the Zumper API

Does Zumper have a public API?

Zumper has no API for reading listings. Its official interface only lets agents and their software upload their own listings. The details, with sources, are above on this page.

How do I get a Zumper API key?

Officially: Through a supported property management system or syndication provider (Appfolio, Yardi, Propertyware and others), or for a custom feed by emailing directlistings@zumper.com / feeds@zumper.com; custom feeds are limited to 50+ properties and need a signed Community Listing Service Order Form. Listingrail gives you a key for Zumper and 16 other portals at once: enter your email on the home page and the key comes with 100 free listings.

How much does the Zumper API cost?

We found no published price for an official Zumper API. On Listingrail one listing returned costs one credit: 100 free once, then $29 a month for 10,000 listings ($0.0029 each) down to $0.0012 on the largest plan. Searches that find nothing are free.

Can I get Zumper listings in Python or JavaScript?

Yes. Send one POST request to /v1/listings/search with "source": "zumper" and a location; the examples on this page run as they are once you add your key.

Which Zumper fields does the API return?

id, url, title, address, city, region, postal_code, country, lat, lng, price, currency, price_period, beds, baths, property_type, agent.name, agent.phone, agent.company. Fields Zumper does not show a visitor come back as null, and every listing also carries the portal's own record in "raw".

Is it allowed to use Zumper data?

Listingrail reads what Zumper shows any visitor, at the moment you ask. How you use it is up to you: check Zumper's terms and the data-protection law that applies to you, especially before storing agent names or phone numbers.
